- BENNETT, JAMES W(illiam) (1891-1973); Poet, journalist and writer; was also with the United States Government for a time. He was born in Mitchell, Indiana; and as of 1974 he was living in Redlands, California. In 1988 the Redlands California Public Library could find no trace of Bennett; and in 1988 the Stanford University Alumni Office could find no trace of Bennett or his death, so he presumably died some time between 1974 and 1988.
