Kinloch Cooke, Clement Shorter, William Ingram (1893-1900); contained many articles on travel and topography, but also copious fiction; in some ways, this was the British periodical which pointed the way towards the later Strand Magazine; authors included Thomas Hardy, Henry James, Stanley J.
