Our Own Magazine [January 1915] (1d, 16pp, 6¼" x 8½")
          The magazine is a distinctly “worthy” one. It is subtitled “A Monthly Paper for Young People” and was “Issued by the Children’s Special Service Mission” in Paternoster Row in London, which is evidently a Christian institution of some kind. In 1915 the magazine was edited by T.B. Bishop, was profusely illustrated with a mixture of photographs and illustrations (which remind me vaguely of Paget from the Strand, but are by an artist whose name I can’t make out).
          
          Each issue contained 10 or so vignettes with an overtly-Christian moral, followed by 2-3 pages on the scripture readings for each day of the month. The contents for January 1915 are as follows:
