Somers, Harold Godwin (1904-1910), Doubleday, Page (1910-1937); monthly; smaller than standard format, initially 25 cents, converted to a standard pulp in Mar. 1910; editors Harry Peyton Steger (?-1912), Harry E. Maule (1912-1936); at first most of the stories—“25 stories for 25 cents”—were reprints, including translations; from 1910 it was transformed into a pulp adventure magazine.
