    Black Box Mystery Magazine
This title is listed by Mike Cook, in Mystery, Detective and Espionage Magazines, as a retitling of Bakka Magazine, but closer examination shows that the magazine was still called Bakka Magazine and simply used Black Box as a subtitle on the seventh issue.

    Black Cat Mystery Magazine:
Mixture of reprint and new stories, both mystery and supernatural. All issues of this magazine have the same cover illustration—the head of a black cat in a circle.

    Black Circle Mystery
Spoof pulp with a single issue listed in Doug Ellis’ From the Pulp Vault #10, April 1992.

    Black Mask:
Black Mask started life fairly innocuously as a general pulp running all types of fiction from adventure to romance to westerns. However, it was the advent of Joseph T. Shaw as editor in November 1926 that saw Black Mask transformed into what is generally regarded as the finest detective pulp magazine ever published. Even though Shaw was fired in 1936, the magazine continued with a consistently high standard into the early 1950s, reaching a total of 340 issues.
