    Our Own Magazine   (about)
    The magazine is a distinctly “worthy” one. It is subtitled “A Monthly Paper for Young People” and was “Issued by the Children’s Special Service Mission” in Paternoster Row in London, which is evidently a Christian institution of some kind. In 1915 the magazine was edited by T.B. Bishop, was profusely illustrated with a mixture of photographs and illustrations.

    Each issue contained 10 or so vignettes with an overtly-Christian moral, followed by 2-3 pages on the scripture readings for each day of the month.

    After December 1924, Our World (which had already absorbed World Fiction) was itself absorbed into Our World Weekly (which had begun with Oct. 13, 1924 issue), and in November 1925 that in turn was absored into World Review (which had begun with issue of 21 September 1925), and in Feb. 1930 that was absorbed by World News (which had begun in 1923), which in 1931 began World News—Current Topics, which had also absorbed a journal called Looseleaf Current Topics, and which in early 1932 was absorbed by Scholastic, which had also absorbed both Magazine World and Current Literature, and which in 1936 fissioned into three editions, one of which later became Senior Scholastic, and so on, and aren’t you glad you are not a serials cataloger? I am.

    Our Young Folks   (about)
    An Illustrated Magazine for Boys and Girls. Each issue contains a variety of stories and articles, plus puzzles and games with superb engravings.

    Out of the Gutter   (about)
    Subtitled “The Modern Journal of Pulp Fiction and Degenerate Literature”, and concentrating on crime fiction with a degenerate edge.

    Out of This World   (about)
    A short-lived companion series to Supernatural Stories; both volumes were later reprinted within that series. This title was also used on three volumes numbered into the Supernatural Stories series, q.v.

    In both of these issues the interior pages are numbered 5 to 132.

    Out of This World Adventures   (about)
    The comic sections in this pulp are actually the entire contents of separately published Avon comic books. The comic section in issue #1 is the same as Out of This World #1, Jun ’50. The comic section in #2 is the same as Strange Worlds #1, Nov ’50. The Canadian edition of #2 has a different comic book bound in, Flying Saucer, 1950.
