Crampton’s Magazine
          This is the one which began life as Chapman’s Magazine of Fiction, published by Chapman & Hall, then by New Century Press, then by Anthony Traherne & Co., London, from May 1895-Aug. 1898 (40 issues), retitled Crampton’s Magazine, Sep. 1898-Dec. 1902 (a further 52 issues). The editor for much of the run was Oswald Crawfurd, but by May 1902 he’d been replaced by one Harold Tremayne.
