Avery Rome (tabloid) A rare foray into fiction by IM, and a remarkably bitter story for a Sunday supplement, in which two estranged spouses both suspect their better halves killed in the various massacres of 2001. The magazine didn’t publish any response in the succeeding issue’s lettercol. Kalfus is about as big a name as Busch, at least in my possibly skewed cosmology. [TM]
