British Boy

Total Issues: 24

"A paper of the highest class. Its authors were of the highest class and included T. C. Bridges, S. Clarke Hook, R. A. H. Goodyear and John Hunter. The latter wrote a serial story for the first 12 issues entitled "The Secret of Spaniards Hope." A big mystery is why this paper failed. Published by United Newspapers Ltd., it had a companion paper running at the same time entitled British Girl; both finished after 24 issues, no reason or announcement was given of its sudden end." (W.O.G. Lofts)
