The Farthing JournalTotal Issues: 66The magazine had the motto 'a pearl of small price' with which Waite seemed to agree calling it 'a great literary curiosity' and saying it belong to 'the world of marvels'. See Waite The Quest for Bloods p.77 (n.210).

Far WestTotal Issues: 22Subtitled "America's Leading Western Fiction Monthly" (even when it was
quarterly), Far West started as a digest western which had a rather
cheap look to it, but then switched to a larger format in 1980. The
covers are decent, but the interior art is poor, and the authors tend to
be unknown (although Wayne Barton had stories between 1978 and 1981). Issues & Index Sources

FateThe most successful and longest running occult magazine. Devoted entirely to non-fiction, it is still being published today. It was started pseudonymously by Ray Palmer while he was still an editor at Ziff-Davis. It was a sister publication to Other Worlds and early issues may be of some interest to collectors for the large number of SF authors who crossed over to its pages, as well as the many striking SF-style covers done by artists like Malcolm Smith, Harold McCauley and James Settles.
