Wings (UK)Total Issues: 10Wings was Britain's first aviation fiction magazine. It was issued by the publisher of Captain W. E. Johns's books and may have taken its title from Johns's own early novel, Wings (1931). Johns featured heavily in the magazine's first four issues with both stories and articles, as did Wilfrid Tremellen, Arch Whitehouse, J. Railton Holden and George Fielding Eliot.
