The Chameleon

Country: US
Total Issues: 1

THE CHAMELEON is definitely a magazine, even though there was only one issue and that was limited to 100 copies. The editor was John Francis Bloxam (1873-1928), a young high churchman with a fondness for boys, who contributed the anonymous "The Priest and the Acolyte". The other fiction contribution was by John Gambril Francis Nicholson (1866-1931), a school teacher with a similar sexual orientation. Another contributor was Oscar Wilde who had "Phrases and Philosophies for the Use Of The Young" published in the magazine.
