Owl (UK) [1988]

Country: UK
Total Issues: 3 (or 4)

Children's magazine produced by the publisher of an earlier series, Play and Learn (1986 - 1987). Described at the time of launch as a "glossy colour monthly magazine full of entertaining articles for children. The editor was quoted (Guardian, March 30, 1988) as saying "I want to show children the joys of making mud pies and the beauty of nature. They want to know how their bodies and everything around them works." Clearly children were not that interested, as the title folded after only a few issues.
