Rex (UK)

Country: UK

Subtitled "The measure of man", the magazine concentrated on interviews, fashion and travel; sport replaced cars. The newsy-style column "Sexy Rexy" was solely dedicated to naked women from around the globe as far north as Scandanavia and as far east as Italy - almost every item revolved around film or porn stars who took their clothes off. The interviews were a mixed bag, the earlier ones being more substantial. There was a lot of material about the upcoming Olympics in Munich and the fashion pages disappeared fairly quickly.

Unsold issues of the magazine were twinned up (minus covers) in a new cover and sold as Rex Super Extra.
