(Greater) Gangster Stories

(Greater) Gangster Stories was one of Harold Hersey's more successful gangster pulps, running for 43 issues and almost 5 years, first under the title of Gangster Stories and then, from April 1933, as Greater Gangster Stories (possibly representing a merger of all of Hersey's surviving gangster pulps). It was allegedly discontinued because of pressure by authorities against romanticising gangsters.
