Also published a single (November 1921) issue of Puberty edited by "Julius Caesar" and "Q. Caius Lucretius". This was a parody of Youth in name, title and contents containing the story "Erotic Doorknob - A Censored Chapter" by Achilles Hector and other contributions.

The Youth's Companion [1827]

Started as a children's "instructive" paper but became a family magazine in 1857. Under Ford's editorshiop circulation rose tenfold to over 48,000. Authors included Virginia F. Townsend, Louisa May Alcott, Sarah Orne Jewett, Rudyard Kipling, Jack London, Robert Louis Stevenson, Harriet Beecher Stowe, Charles Asbury Stephens, Jules Verne.
