Wonderland Tales

Country: UK
Total Issues: 46

Even in its early run, this was a mixture of comics and fairy stories. Aimed at a 5-9 age-group at first, after around 10 issues it switched its aim to an older market (7-12) and introduced a number of school stories. Contributors included G.R. Hearn, Peter Cavan, Hilda Brierley, Jack Lewis, Basil Baldwin, Morton Pike, Henry T. Johnson, John Grenfell, Horace Philips, C. Louis Pearce; artists included Philip Swinnerton, Leonard Shields, Philip Hayward, J. Louis Smyth, and others. The title became Wonderland Tales Weekly after 46 issues, and the target audience was once again lowered.

Becomes Wonderland Tales Weekly (comic).
